Chicago named best big U.S. city for the 10th straight year
Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards named Chicago the best big city in the U.S. for the 10th consecutive year — the first city to hold the title for a decade since the award began in 1988, Block Club Chicago reports. Nearly 800,000 readers responded, according to Choose Chicago.
Mayor Brandon Johnson called it a milestone the whole city can celebrate. City leaders dubbed Oct. 10 “Best Big City Day,” with Choose Chicago festivities planned Saturday.
